Sonic fansite: SCD

Sonic Cage Dome is a neat little community dedicated to the Sonic The Hedgehog game series. The site features fan games, online tournaments, offline challenges and a podcast series that centers around SEGA's blue blur. While the main site is down at the moment, you can access these features via the forum. Click this text to check it out.

Handwriting style fonts.

I always liked the unprofessional looking fonts. The thing is it can be difficult locating really good ones. Thankfully someone has done the busywork already, and presented them as a collection of sorts.

Video Game Development Guide.

Just starting out as a developer? begin with a simple project and work your way up from there. With limited programing knowledge, a puzzle game would be a good start. Odds are you won't be able to execute all your goals at the beginning. As you become more comfortable with the programing language of your choice, your skills will grow.

Play a online Street Fighter...for free!

With Capcom scared of of releasing another installment of their top fighting franchise against the likes of Tekken, Virtua Fighter and to a lesser extent, DOA, its good to have a loyal community of gamers willing to develop their own version of the game they love. Street Fighter Online is a Shockwave game featuring the Street fighters(Ryu, Chun-Li, M. Bison, etc.) and also Heroes and villians from the Marvel Comics universe(Spiderman, Sentinal, Juggernaut, etc.)

While you can play this game in single player mode, the main draw is Online mode where you compete against others and get ranked based on your win loss record. While the game play is not as smooth as it could/should be(maybe my computer is too old...), you may be able to find some enjoyment from it if you liked the Marvel Vs. series of games. If you do not wish to visit the SFO site every time you want to play, you can snag the downloadable version.

Visit the SFO web site.
